Help Please

I'm new here and hope that I'm doing this the right way. I've been using Calibre for over 1 year now and have now encountered a problem. Today, I just downloaded the latest version, 9.12. I loaded files as per usual, and when I clicked on "Send to Device", only 2 of the 3 files loaded. I tried to upload that 1 files that didn't load, it did load, but another files was removed from the device (the "main" disappeared from the "On Device" column disappears). No matter how many times I try, a file will load, but another is removed. There is plenty of space on my Kindle. I'm tried to download a previous version of Calibre, but I can't seem to load it once it is downloaded. HELP!!

Just a wild guess... Maybe you're loading the book into the Kindle's internal memory and not into any extra memory like an SD card? Smartphones have the same problem where, if you're not paying attention, you can load stuff into the tiny amount of available memory built into the hardware - not the expansion card where you've got a ton of available space.

Hope this helps. If not, check back, someone else might have a better idea.
