Christian publishers likes the Reader
Looks like we are going to see more Christian literature for the Sony Reader in near future. From tennessean.com:

I can't help wondering how useful something like a bible would be on the reader, given the lack of a search facility. Perhaps a decent TOC could be an acceptable substitute.

I sense a theological debate on whether smoking counts as suicide *carefully sidesteps* hehe

Necromancy is talking to the dead. I think you mean sorcery.

Hmm. I thought it was performing magic on/with the dead -- you know, like being a zombie-master.
Oh, well, either way. ![]() |

It's doing something with the dead - from the Greek "nekros" = corpse. Perhaps best not to inquire too closely as to what they actually do

I know this is an old thread, but has anyone seen any Christian books on the market? I know my mother would LOVE a reader but she only reads Christian books (that's just her preference).

I've found the Christian Classics Ethereal Library full of excellent material:
http://www.ccel.org/ Some is txt, some rtf so they are ready to read - but its also very easy to just run them through Book Designer or any other of the fine sony reader format converters available through this forum. The Christian Classics Ethereal Library was started at Wheaton College and has now moved to Calvin College. Very good stuff. |
