How to make Burmese font readable to Kindle

Help! I have Burmese Language ebook, used "ww_burn1.ttf" and it works perfectly fine in epub. However when converted to mobi all burmese characters messed up. Anyone here know how to make burmese fonts readable to Kindle devices. Thanks |

You might check/search "how to embed fonts" in Kindle. Embedded fonts on KF8 & Kindle Touch

For example, if the letter Na (န) is followed by the vowel sign E (ေ), the vowel sign needs to be displayed left of the Na (နေ), however, Qt based rendering engines (and the Kindle) display the vowel sign right of the letter Na. I'm afraid there's not much that you can do other than hacking fonts and/or changing the character order from logical order to physical order. (I.e. hard-code the visual layout.) For more information see the other Burmese language thread. Last edited by Doitsu; 11-27-2012 at 09:31 AM.

Also Kindles don't support embedded fonts for certain languages. E.g. Arabic and Hebrew.
