I've just finished working on a new eBook reader for iOS. Is this the right forum to post its announcement? The "author and self promotion" forum seems to be for authors and books.

What others have done is ask for beta testers. There doesnt really seem to be an appropriate place. Maybe ask for assistance from the mods to determine the appropriateness of a post about your reader. I for one would be very interested to take a look.

You can add it to our wiki as a link from the reader app page or the iBooks page. You can even create a page to describe your product.
