Great interest in Gen3
I've spent the last weekend away on a weekend course, studying Dickens' "Great Expectations" (superb course!). I used my Gen3 to read the book (the version I'd created, naturally

Way to go Harry! Exposure to mainstream is what will get this (ebook readers) accepted. I can't wait to bring mine to work (Computer Support for a major PC manufacturer). My friends are all gadget geeks, and it should generate quite a bit of interest when they all see it.

I love how people will spend an hour telling me exactly why they won't buy one. All I do is nod and agree and mention that it's not LCD, space saving and prettiness and by the end of the hour they're telling me about how they're going to sell all their books and buy one, lol.
People still have a natural aversion to 'staring at a screen' all day. It's the eink tech that needs promotion. |
