Windows cell phones: Anyone know how much these are going to cost?
http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/phones
My husband has an iPhone but hates iAnything. He will be on this. I'm wondering what the cost is likely to be? Do they look good to people here? I'm not good at these kinds of comparisons but maybe this would make a good Christmas gift. OTOH phones are so personal, he might be best off getting his own. |

Windows phone will probably be my next cellphone. I hate garbage from google play store and restrictions of iOS are asphyxiating me.

I've been hoping for a "reasonably" priced Windows phone that can be used on my Virgin Mobile plan myself.
Not so much an Android hater and someone who's just really getting tired of learning yet another OS. Of course, I still use my Windows Mobile PDA (mostly because my two favorite programs haven't ported to Android). |

I think it depends on if you also get the 2 year plan or buy the phone outright.

I've been rather impressed with windows' recent offerings on the mobile world. The metro interface is neat. But, I can't stand metro on desktop. I'll be looking at a windows phone as you next handset.

Verizon Windows 8x phone by HTC is $199 with 2-year plan ($549 alone), the Nokia Lumia 822 is $99 with 2-year plan ($449 alone).
I want to get one of these as well. Hopefully black Friday they'll be giving the Lumia away for free. Last edited by banjobama; 11-15-2012 at 07:16 PM. |
