uninstall jailbreak failed

i have installed jailbreak_0.4 on my kindle3 wifi (fireware 3.1).
my fireware was updated to 3.3 serveral days ago, now i want to uninstall my jailbreak, so i copy the exact same version update_jailbreak_0.4_k3w_uninstall.bin to the root fold and restart my kindle3.
but it update failed with error code 3. should i rollback my fireware to 3.1 first?

not this way. follow this steps:

• copy the update_jailbreak_0.4_k3w_uninstall.bin to the root
• use Kindle's update feature: Menu>Settings>Menu>Update Your Kindle

I have been searching for hours and can't find anywhere what I'm looking for. I thought this post would help, so I did this with my uninstall file but it's not working. I never should have done it, but now I can't figure out how to uninstall jailbreak 1.6.N. I installed the jailbreak no problem, but I keep getting update unsuccessful and error codes when I try to uninstall. I copied the uninstall file to my kindle and then went to my settings to update kindle. I also tried it with restarting my kindle. Not working. Can anyone help me? I want to call Amazon to remove my special offers and didn't think I should have my kindle jailbroken when I did. Thanks!!

What error codes? The code will give the information needed to answer your question.

No, you don't have to remove the jailbreak before having Amazon remove the special offers.

I'm sorry - I meant to include the error code!! I called Amazon though since you said it didn't matter so I don't have to remove the hack. Thanks for your help!!
