Hello Everyone!
Hello Everyone!

I am very new here (just found these boards yesterday) and also very new to ereaders (my mother gifted me my first--a Kindle Paperwhite!--just the other week!), so I am extremely green, but very eager to learn all there is to know about ereaders!

A bit about myself: I am a fine artist (oil paint and graphite), and I play guitar, ocarina, and I am also learning kalimba. I am in my late-20s, I live with my SO, and we would like move to the Pacific Northwest (of USA) to start our childfree family-life in a cozy condo with a poodle and a cat. I grew up reading Little Golden Books, the Bible (but no longer prescribe to its teachings), and the works of J.R.R.Tolkien.

My current favorite authors include J.R.R.Tolkien, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and Ursula K. Le Guin, as well as my guilty pleasure author, Jean M. Auel.

I am on the hunt for intriguing sci-fi/fantasy novels, art history, artist biographies, popcult personality biographies, natural history, enlightening and intriguing progressive fiction and non-fiction, intersectional social justice essays, and other writings on Life, the Universe, and Everything.

I look forward to learning all I can from this community about ereaders in general and how to finesse my new Paperwhite specifically, and I also hope that I will be able to add something to this community as well! I can't wait to get to know you all, and share our thoughts with each other!
