Cancelled the paperwhite 3g about 3 weeks ago, but......

.....in my "Deliver to" drop down menu (which lists the devices one can download things to), it still shows the Paperwhite 3G unit as a choice to which I can download my items.

In checking all my recent orders for the past 2 months (which absolutely covers when the 3G unit was ordered and then cancelled), I'm showing no history of an order arriving to me - which is correct and as it should be.

Anyone else encounter this issue?

How can it even be listed there as a 'deliver to' option without being registered? I would call Amazon asap and make sure it wasn't registered to your account by someone else.

When I turned on my Kindle after receiving it, it was already tied to my account. Does Amazon no longer pre-register Kindles to your account when you buy it from them?

If you go to "Manage your devices" does it list a Paperwhite and serial number? If so, they may have registered a device to you before the cancellation was processed.

Go into Your Divices & Cancel IT... Anytime you buy a Kindle Direct from Amazon they add the Device to your Account Before shipping! That away IF it gets Lost in Mail they can Brick it! They added it to your Account Only You can cancel it!

Just go to the Manage Your Kindles page and DEREGISTER the unit. It will be gone forever.

Check your credit card purchases at you bank site to see if some items have been charged incorrectly.
