Totally frozen
Help!
After facing the giggling USB port on an Odyssey with the sliding on/off button, I got a new one from Bookeen with a push on/off button a few month ago. Everything was really fine until today: after using it this morning and turning it off before shelving it in my pocket, I found it out frozen when I retrieved it: it was on the same page, but the on/off and page buttons, or touching the screen, had no effect. It had happened a couple of times before, but this was then solved by connecting the device to my PC using the USB cord. Nothing of the kind tonight: the device charge light is on, but my PC and the device do not react to each other. So I am completely stuck. Any hint or idea before I (try to) contact Bookeen? Thanks a lot in advance. |

Well, this kind of thing happens in life... it is solved right after I send the previous post!
I unconnected the USB cable, then retried to press the on/off for a long time, and this time, the device reacted: the blue light flashed and after a short while, it rebooted (the initialization animation showed)... Life goes on! |
