Hi everybody: I am really sorry to bother you but I am stumped I looked thru faq and user guides, Google searches looking for an answer. I don't know what I did but my book list is showing up as covers and not typed words any more. Covers take up more space and words are just simpler. How do I turn it back? thanks so much for your time. Jenmoon1 Sorry for grammar and spelling problems.

On the bottom right of the Calibre window, near the jobs 'spinner' there is a cover grid button. Press that to return to list view.

While you are down in the right hand corner pushing the cover grid button try toggling the other button down there too. Each control part of the view. It helps to know what quick options are available by simply toggling a button.

All the buttons in Calibre have 'balloon help' descriptions.
(You still need to know what 'Grid View' means )
