Journal management

Hi, I'm new to Calibre and just learning to use it, I already indexed some of my ebooks and find the program quite useful.
I was trying to catalog some of my journals, and I was wondering if there's any way to enter the list of articles, subjects and authors associated to each journal, or if there's a plugin that allow me to do this.

PS. I made a few searches and couldn't find anything, , sorry if this is already addressed somewhere else.

Check for the "Import" plugin.

If so I can't see how to apply it to my problem...
Right now I have some books classified in a nice way, I created a genre column as suggested in the manual so if I want to know what books I have in the ottoman wars subject, I just got to History -> military -> Ottoman Wars.
I could do something like that for the articles inside the journals, but in addition I'd like to be able to check the article name and authors, something like a hierarchical entry for that particular entry.
I apologize if I'm not being clear, English is not my primary language.

From this description I assumed you had a 'list' of articles which needed to be added. The import plugin allows adding files from a list.
