Hello from Toulouse
Hi!
I'm new to this forum and am staying in Toulouse for the next 6 month because my company needs me in France. Naturally I'm, living and working in Hamburg (Germany). Anyway. I have registered here in search for information about E-Book reader devices, because reading on my notebook is not something I want to do every day. It's not really comfortable. I know the name of the devices that are not in my selected choice - like Kindle, STAReBook or iRex iLiad. Either because of the price or that they not support the ebooks I have in my possession (mostly doc files, html anf PDF). That left me with HanLin (V2, V3, etc), Sony or Bookeen. I hope to get additional information on those devices so I can buy one before I return to Hamburg. It would make my stay in France much more pleasant. I like to read a good story in the evening before going to bed. Greetings, Gabriele |

Hi gabster !
Welcome here ![]() I live in Toulouse and recently bought a Sony Reader. If you want and if we both find the time, we can try to meet so I could show you the Reader. I love it ! I was reading on a clié before, and the e-ink has nothing in common : it's totally readable. I bought my reader mid November and I've already read more than twenty novels on it ![]() The only thing is : I don't know if you can get many German books without mobipocket drm which can't be convert to LRF. |
