'Wifi Error' any fix?

Hi All

I am using:

Rupor Absolutely Minimal Root (AMR) Stable release: 20121220 (Only for firmware 1.0.05.11130

However since I rooted whenever I turn on wifi I get 'wifi error' and it shows no networks. This is a bit of PITA as the point of rooting it for me was to get the kindle app & books..

Anyone else run into this & solved it? I understand I can't go back to 1.0.04.xx but is there another firmware I can try?

Or failing that is there a way to get the PRST1 online via USB? at least then I could grab my Kindle library?
