I'm more interested in hearing what users will say as far as the new Kindles' firmware goes. That of course won't happen until they ship. Historically Amazon has put a lot of emphasis in new hardware and next to no emphasis on making the firmware better. How many years have we been requesting better control over margins, requesting more fonts, requesting to use our own sleep screen images, et cetera? I would be really impressed if they just addressed one of those, but I think it will probably be none of those again.

And how many have complained about that gawd awful carousel on the Fire? I doubt they get rid of it either...

I'm sure the hardware will be cool, and Amazon will have more ways to sell us apps and other crap we didn't know we needed or wanted.

Looks like EDT is -4, so -7 should be right for PDT.

For software, book covers as screensaver.
