neolalit1: that's not e-ink, and it doesn't address the OP's format needs either.

I'm sorry hatasi_abb, I don't know of any mainstream e-ink device that meets your exact specifications. Are all of them essential? For example, would you compromise on a tablet rather than an e-ink device, or on converting your documents to another format?

There is a thread from last year about Onyx Boox handling large CHM files:

https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=143929

but again, you're looking at either six inches or 9.7 inches there. Maybe someone will be along soon with a rec for a niche ereader that fits.

meeera :
the essential spec. is File formats (pdf, chm.html, doc) without doubt
and the display size larger than 6" smaller than 9.7inch
but if this size is not available I can get used to use 9.7"

converting file formats is a problem for me. Device to use is not a priority but the issue that I want only to read books so i'm afraid of wasting money.I have no experiences in these devices as it will be the first one i'll buy one.

thank you neolalit1 ,meeera

If e-ink is not essential for you, you might have a lot of choices in the colour tablet range. I'm sorry, I know nothing about chm formats, so you'll have to wait for someone smarter to talk to you about support for those.

screen type eInk
You're out of luck; there are no eInk screens in the size you specify. You get 6" or 9.7".

Unless perhaps one can find an old iRex DR800?, although I don't remember what formats it supports.

There was an 8" reader shown off last year, the Eliot EB-800C, but I just did a little searching and it doesn't look like it was ever released...
