News downloads very slow in Calibre
Hi,
I'm new to Calibre and am just trying to get started with downloading some news to my Kindle. I have set up some news sources (The Times UK and the Telegraph) but the time to download is oppressively slow (even if I leave for 2 hours it is still not even at 50%). I am using a Macbook Pro with OS X. Have tried restarting the computer and restarting Calibre. I have tried other news sources too and it seems to be the same problem. Can anyone help with this?
