Error Message...Can you help?

My Kobo will no longer receive books to its main memory. When I look under My Computer, KOBOeREADER (J), previously loaded books show up as if loaded on the reader, but are not accessable.

This is the error message I am also receiving, and have no idea what this means.

Unfortunately, that means the database on the KT is corrupt in some way. Because of this, calibre can't read this. The safest thing is to do a factory reset. It might be possible to fix the database with some sort of SQLLite tools, but I haven't tried.

What is "the KT"? Is that Kobo Touch, as I do not have that version of Kobo. Have the first edition.
What is a SQLLite tool? Computers/computer lingo is not my thng, so I need simple speak for this simple mind

In that case, I would recommend doing the factory reset.

SQLLite is the type of database that the Kobo devices use to store the library information. There are tools around to inspect and make changes to the database. They are for intended for developers and administrators to use. Also, while I know these tools can repair databases, I don't know if they can in this situation as I haven't tried. So, suggesting you download and install them, isn't reasonable.
