Unknown permission errors, dictionary not working, etc - fix via packages.xml rebuild
Hi folks,
if you have "Unknown permission" errors in your log and your reader occasionally crashes / apps like dictionary don't work, a corrupted packages.xml file might be the cause. I wrote a wiki article on how to fix this and I am looking forward to your feedback: https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/PRST...mission_errors But be warned - this is not for beginners - you may end up having to do a factory reset and loosing all data on the reader. |
