I don't remember now, but there was a yellow-color-themed site, where users wrote and rated their stories. It had iOS app too. Anyone getting a clue?

I'm going to piggie-back this thread as the OP has not put SF in the title.

Can anyone come up with some more general short stories, please. Adventure, detection, humour or whatever. The sort of things that kill a handy quarter of an hour but with a beginning, a middle and an end. Much of the stuff I have looked at so far are nothing more than snapshots of a moment in time and I don't call that a 'story'.

Tony I hate "New Yorker" type stories for the most part ... that may or may not be exactly what you mean, but there is a style of typical New Yorker Story that I think is more of a sketch or incident than a real story, in particular they don't seem to have resolutions and I don't consider it a story unless it has a resolution.

Sorry about the SF, but I think you might find those particularly ones not your typical SF.....well maybe Rescue Party is typical, the others at least IMHO are a bit more 'literary'

In any case though. You are welcome. I much prefer just a good story, regardless of genre.
