Lost theme on binary install
xubuntu 12.04 lts
Hi, I had the default repository version of calibre installed and decided to upgrade with the binary provided on the site. In doing so I no longer have me desktop theme (NOX) skinning the app. I have tried everything I could find to fix this myself but have had no luck. An older thread here talked about using qtconfig to achieve this, but my other qt apps are fine. I also tried loading my gtkrc directly from the .desktop file and the command line with no success. Code:
GTK2_RC_FILES=/path/to/your/theme/gtkrc application-command Thanks for any help. |

It depends on whether your theme is compatible with the version of Qt (4.8.2) shipped with calibre. If it isn't then you either need to upgrade the theme, or downgrade calibre.

Thank you for the quick reply. Apparently ubuntu is using 4.8.1. =\
At least I know what's going on now. I'll weigh my options from here. ![]() |
