E-reading newbie!
Hi there. I've just recently gotten myself an iPad, downloaded the Kobo app, and started reading Cujo by Stephen King. I'm thinking about getting an e-ink device in the future, but for now my iPad is doing the trick. I'm looking forward to diving into the e-reading communtiy!

Welcome to someone from 'Down Under' from 'Up Here'. There are plenty of e-books which you can get free (if you search'.
Smashwords have July (summer/winter) sale on, with many at half price or even free. Guttenberg has thousands of free ones as well (copyright expired), however you have to check that the copyright has expired in your country. If you can upoad Kindle e-reader, and e-pub reader then there are many other free e-books available including from Amazon. |

Welcome MissKittiness. I love Gutenberg. It has many excellent books. I particularly like many drawings in books written in the 1800s -- really beautiful.
