I just tried downloading the latest version 0.8.61 and it shows up as an .msi file that vista does not recognize. Also, since my Kobo updated, now I cannot delete books I've read off of it. I get an error message:
Your Kobo is running an updated firmware/database version. As Calibre has not been updated, database editing is disabled. You can enable support for your Kobo in plugin preferences. Doing so may require you to perform a factory reset. Before selecting the "Attempt to support newer firmware" option you should be familiar with restoring your Kobo to factory defaults. I can add books, which is a relief, but cannot access the device library. Is there something wrong with the latest Calibre update? Any input would be appreciated. |

Ignore the message about the Kobo firmware.

Sounds like possibly a corrupted download....
