Adding books: getting metadata from path?

This has gotta be in a nuB post someplace. But My grepfu has failed once again. got a folder tree full of files. but the Filename is just the title. The Author is the folder name. I looked for functions/templates that'd have the path available before the book entry is made. But, 'twas joyless. Clues? TIA |

Templates apply to saving to devices only. Calibre controls internal storage Use a file renamer to rename the files with the basic metadata befor importing | |
