Coding Covers in html5 for Calibre
I know this has been discussed many times, but I hope a specific solution can be found for this irksome problem. I know that there is no standard method to identify the cover of an ebook in an html file, BUT, in my case, I make a copy of the html file, and can add anything I want to it before it goes to Calibre.
So, the cover is always named cover.jpg, and could be named otherwise, if needed. What I would like to do is add code into my (temporary, to be sent to Calibre only) html5 file that identifies to Calibre which file is the cover. It will always be in the same folder as the submitted file. As it is, it just grabs a random .jpg file for the cover. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks in advance, John |

I forgot to mention that Calibre-convert is run from the command line to create my ebooks, if that helps.
