Delete Archived items?

I sent a whole load of books to my K4NT by email for my daughter to read, to see if she would like the Kindle. She did, so I bought myself a KT and decided to give her the K4NT. I deregistered it and reset the K4NT back to factory settings, then re-registered it using her Amazon account and re-sent the books to her. Perfect, all working great.

I then went into Manage my Kindle under MY Amazon account and removed all the books that were for her by choosing "Delete from Library". I got myself a KT, registered it to me, but now when I choose "Archived Items", those books that I originally sent to the K4NT for my daughter to try out are still listed.

How can I remove them?

Thanks but that is to delete them from the Manage My Kindle page. I've done that already, manually. My problem is they still show up on my Kindle under "Archived Items"

Did you get online with your Kindle after removing them from your personal docs list?

Yes, my KT3G is always online, I never turn wireless off.

Sync and check for new items on your Kindle, and if it still doesn't update the archive to show the correct number of books, then try a reset (press and hold power button for 20 seconds). If the books have been deleted from the Amazon servers it should just be a matter of your Kindle syncing with the servers.

Tried choosing "Sync" on the Kindle and tried holding button for 20 secs to reset, still no luck - Archived Items still appear on KT!

Sorry I dunno then, that's how I got mine to 'update' to the correct amount of books after I'd deleted stuff from the archive.

soulfuldog I ♥ Calibre Posts: 2,073 Karma: 5678911 Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: UK Device: Kindle Oasis, Voyage, Sony PRS-350, Hudl2	Sync and check for new items on your Kindle, and if it still doesn't update the archive to show the correct number of books, then try a reset (press and hold power button for 20 seconds). If the books have been deleted from the Amazon servers it should just be a matter of your Kindle syncing with the servers.
