A reader for scanned PDF file

I would like to buy a reader mainly for scanned PDF files (text is stored in pictures). Which reader is the best? I want to be able to zoom in and out.
--------------------------
Thank you for all your inputs. I do not like iPad because it doesn't use E-ink. It will hurt my eye if I read a book for 5 hours.

I do not mind to zoom in and out, or drag the page back and forth, as long as the screen can update itself in one second.

My scanned files are about 500KB per page. I do not know if a EReader can handle it.

And I also would like to sketch on pages while I am reading.

I'd look at an iPad or 10" Android tablet for that. On iPad I'd use Goodreader, on Android there are a few you could consider ezPDF, RepliGo or Mantano.

The iPad is 4:3 which is a much better aspect ratio for reading PDF.

Depends on the aspect ratio of the PDF.

Definitely a 10" tablet of whatever variety floats your boat. Don't even THINK about 6" eInk devices for this. Personally, I think the iPad is the best for this, but a 10" Android tablet like the Galaxy Tab can certainly do a good job too.
