Can I convert my Sony eReader books to my Kindle Fire?
I just got a Kindle Fire and would like to move the books on my old Sony eReader to it. Is this possible? I am pretty much a computer illiterate.

I own both too. No you cannot. Sony (and Nook and everyone else uses the EPUB file format) Kindle and only Kindle uses the Mobi file format. They are mutually incompatible.

If your ePub books are not DRM protected, you can use Calibre software (free here on MobileRead) to convert from ePub to Mobi
