Free (nook/Kindle/DRM-free/Sony) Desire's Sirocco [Epic Fantasy Love Slave Romance]

Desire's Sirocco by Charlotte Boyett-Compo is somewhere in her WindVerse series of f/m romances which range from 2-5 flames on the ARE heat index and seem to feature some rather disparate elements which defy ready categorization. This one is some kind of fantasy keeper/slave-turned-lovers vs. evil thing, free for the next two weeks courtesy of publisher Ellora's Cave, which gave us the 1st in series earlier.

This apparently doesn't exist at All Romance eBooks, so I couldn't tell you what the heat level is (ETA: Full 5 flames on the heat index, thanks to koland for finding it there), but I can't wait to find out what kind of unsexy household appliance a "sirocco" happens to also be a German word for.

Currently free @ B&N, Amazon (available to Canadians) and DRM-free in the format of your choice directly from the publisher. (And lurking in hiding at All Romance eBooks.)

Description
Lord Dagan Kiel is the Master Trainer of the Conclave. It is his duty to provide and train a wife for the Grand Master. When he spies a beautiful naked young woman on the slave block at Sahar Colony, he outbids all others to buy her. Taking her to the infamous Keep of the Brotherhood at Lalssu, he begins in-depth, graphic instructions of the young, naive virgin. Though he trains his charge with the Grand Master in mind, he does not count on falling in love and lust with the lovely Jameela.

Her father and brothers sold Jameela into slavery. She had resigned herself to an existence of backbreaking work or exacting degradation. When the forbidding Lord Dagan purchases her, she knows her life is in the hands of the handsome lord. Learning his terrible secret only deepens a love that began on the long ride to the Keep.

But the lovers must face formidable obstacles that will take them from the highest plains of desire to the lowest depths of fear. They will battle unseen forces that threaten to tear them apart, and are forced into lethal situations where only love can stay the hand of death. Before Jameela is handed over into the Grand Master's keeping, sheer evil will trod the land and Dagan will know to what depths he is willing to go to keep her at his side.

Thanks. It was hiding earlier and wouldn't show up on search (and the author's got 4 pages of titles, most of which have Wind somewhere in them, which doesn't help the pattern-recognition skills).

I had to search three different ways before it showed up. Don't know what's going on with their search engine.

There is quite a bit of info, also, on her website - maps of the Windworld, WindVerse, etc, a key to the characters and a listing of which books occur in which order.

Sorry, though, no luck on digging up a germanic root on Sirocco.

Thanks for trying. I'm rather hoping it's a kind of brand name for one of those vacuum suction steam cleaner things, given that the actual sirocco seem to vary between being a very humid to very drying hot wind, depending on where it starts and ends up.

ETA: Why couldn't EC have offered the "WesternWind™ (whip-wielding, six-gun shooting werevamp lawmen of the Old West)" portion of the sprawling saga as the freebie instead? That one sounds cracktastic enough for me to give a try.
