Force Quit Constantly Necessary... Library to Big?
I have a mac with approximately 93,000,000 books in my library. For the last month or so I have had to force quit several times a day because the program stops responding. Even the smallest actions are very slow and the spinning beach ball is almost always there.
I have deleted the plist in preferences several times to no avail as well reinstalling the software. Should I split my library? If yes, any suggestions how to do so efficiently. |

Don't know the answer, but with 93 million books, you could read one per mile if you ever take a trip to the Sun.

I have Science Fiction-Fantasy-Supernatural and Urban Fantasy in one, and Westerns, Romance-Erotica, textbooks and others in different libraries. I find the program gets a little slow for me about 8,000 in a library, but could go with more. So it just depends on how you want to divvy up your collection. |
