Download for 1.9.16 or 1.9.14?

Does anyone have a link for a zip download?

Not having a top margin on ePubs is really bugging me.

Thanks.

Karma to whoever has it.

1.9.16 is still available at Kobo: http://download.kobobooks.com/firmwa...ate-1.9.16.zip

I also have 1.9.14 on my computer, PM if you need it, have to upload it somewhere in case you want it.

If you are using Calibre, going into look and feel and checking the box for padding as part of the ePUB conversion seems to take care of this. It is like how checking the box for margins makes them adjustable on Kobo for books run through Calibre.

And then (re)convert every book again...
And if you have another reader that really takes care for the margins, better keep a version with "normal" margins.

At least for me this is no solution, I'll stay with 1.9.16 too until Kobo finally gets this solved (which I doubt they do, it's more than 2 months and such a ridiculous easy thing to fix, and no reaction at all from Kobo. Shame...)

I'm betting that it's not that the fix is difficult as much as it might be that pushing out an update just for this is not a priority.

For someone interested in solving this problem for new books, the padding adjustment might be worth a shot. That is what I have done--figuring that it is not worth going through the older books because it is probably a temporary issue.

I might try that, but right now I don't really need to do much syncing and 1.9.17 didn't get any new features except some FaceBook stuff right?

It did have some fixes that mattered to some folks. For example, an improvement in WiFi connectivity. It also got a tad faster and the contrast improved. I don't remember when the choice to use shortlist "stuck", but it may have been in the latest build.
