No Amazon Sales Rankings? 9:30CST 05/15/02
Just noticed no products of any type are showing sales rankings on Amazon right now. Has anyone heard if they are doing away with that feature or if this is a known bug that popped up today?

Pretty sure it's not on my end since I tried multiple browsers and being logged in and out of my account.

All I know is they had major "publishing" issues at the beginning of the month. It took a week to publish my most recent addition. It may be playing into this as well?? I presume they had some software update as they claimed the publishing issue was a 'bug'

This seems to happen from time-to-time. Usually I just check back after a while and the ratings are back. I've seen instances where ratings are gone when browsing with Chrome, but they're there with IE. Go figure.

I'm seeing ranking now.

Amazon seems to tweak their pages on a regular basis. Sometimes, while they're rolling out a new "look," something disappears for a little while until the change propagates through all their servers.

Or something like that.

Not necessarily, but it's amazing how many sites have tinkered with their presentation and only made them harder to read, slower to load, and more difficult to navigate. Case in point, space.com
