How to specify Amazon for book info
In Preferences>>Metadata Download I have specified sources for Amazon and Amazon Multiple Countries. I downloaded plugin for the latter. I have not chosen any other source.
But in main interface in book details, on left side only Author, Format and Path show up. No Amazon as it did previously. Plus if I click on author for more information it takes me to Goodreads not Amazon!!!!! Pls  Thank u |

After you SET your preferences, did you select book, Ctrl-D (get metadata from the spreadsheet) Or the button in the MDE???

Yes I set preferences first and then selected book. But when I click on author on the left book opens in Goodreads not Amazon.
Metadata does not download at all but that is another query I have asked for help about in another thread. |

But when I have'nt chosen Goodreads as any source of book information why am I being directed to Goodreads?

Finally, a headway at the end of a frustrating day. Thank you. The selected setting was "Search for the author on good reads" which I chaned to Amazon and now it goes to Amazon.
Now pls pls help me with me with one more frustration. What setting should I chooseso that in the main interface in the book details panel Amazon shows on the left side. Many thanks |
