refresh on kindle touch

Hi. Has anyone of you had problems with the partial refresh on kindle touch, with 5.0 and 5.1 the same? It, suddenly, passes the page slowlier, and does a full refresh. If i change it to full refresh mode, besides, it doesn't help it: the slow, strange refresh, keeps happening. I can't be the only one, am I?

I use the mode that refreshes after a few pages. I've noticed that if I leave the Kindle alone for a few days and then begin using it again, it seems to refresh with each page for a few minutes. I don't know why, and nothing else seems amiss.

I'm not sure if just leaving the Kindle alone is the cause, or perhaps the combination of loading several books and leaving it alone. Or maybe something else entirely.

When eink has been sitting for days, it gets sluggish and lower contrast. The full-flash refreshes "exercise" it to get it working faster and better.

The reason for this is that the screen is made of many small beads filled with oil, containing black and white charged particles. These particles can settle out and stick to the bead inner surface. Full flash updates help loosen stuck particles and warm the oil to lower its viscosity. These eink screens are tuned for 25C (78F) operating temperature, which is where they work best, but they do contain a temperature sensor and can adapt to a range of "normal" temperatures. But if stored in a cold place, the eink becomes slow and low contrast.

I suspect that the software knows how long the kindle has sat idle and knows to not do partial refresh until the eink is ready to show a decent image.
