Kindle 2 troubleshooting

I am a bit confused here, the whispernet (not wifi) went out on my wife's kindle 2. We went through all the crap with the troubleshooting to no avail, so I switched out the wireless card and antenna and it STILL won't connect.

I am not an expert on such matters does anyone have a clue on how to fix this....without having to buy another one?

She can still download manually but now a excuse to get a new one, I would prefer not doing that, aside from the wireless issue the thing runs fine.

Did you try contacting customer support?

What pidegon says is good advice but before you do this try a few things. Take another wifi device and attempt to connect to your router, can you connect? If you can it tells you the troubble is the kindle if you can not then the troubble is the router. At the moment you do not know which is the problem.

The Kindle is not a wi-fi Kindle.
