how to uninstall 'toggle ads' hack?

hello,

i have a question about how to manually uninstall pat hartl's toggle ads mp3-hack from my KT.*
i tried it out while still under 5.0.1. a week later, the KT updated to 5.0.3, making the mp3-hack method (and thus, the way to easily disable the toggle-ads hack) unavailable. now my KT is running 5.0.4.
i want to pay to disable the ads, but delete the hack (and my custom screensaver) before.*
does anyone know how to do this? i wrote pat hartl, but he didn't answer.*

Can no one help me?
I'll try to uninstall GUI Launcher and jailbreak before update to 5.1.0 and hope everything goes well...

if you have ssh just execute toggleads.sh

if not then rename toggleads.sh as RUNME.sh and use with geekmaster's data.tar.gz ( you can find it in Devlepoer's Corner)

I have gui launcher and thus usbnetwork, but unfortunately I have no idea how to use it.
The same for the data.tar.gz method. I don't know about such commands and would be afraid to damage something....

edit: I mean, if I just update to 5.1.0, pay amazon to remove the ads and the files of the toggle-ads-hack don't do any harm, I don't care if they stay on my kindle. But I don't know if they would do some harm in the future, or not.

Ok, I risked it, deinstalled the GUI Launcher (jailbreak and disabled-ads still active) and updated to 5.1.0. After crossing fingers, everything worked just fine!

Whenever I do a 'long' restart (pressing powerbutton >30sec, the ads are disabled and my custom screensaver appears, and whenever I connect to wifi, the ads appear again. I would still like to uninstall this hack, and get the normal SO-version back. If someone wants to help me with it, I'd appreciate, but if not I'll just continue as it is, since everything works fine. In the worst case I will have to learn SSH and all that stuff %-)

download and install usbnetwork hack from this page: http://yifan.lu/p/kindle-touch-jailbreak/
read Readme of the hack and also related threads in developer's Corner to learn to connect Kindle via ssh ( you can use search button)
copy toggleads.sh to your Kindle ( beside the documents folder)
connect to Kindle via ssh
execute this via ssh:

/mnt/us/toggleads.sh
```

there are enough documentation on this forum. Hence there is no need to repeat it here. Just search.
