Newsletter to Kindle

Hi,

in February I have posted a similar thread on the Kindle forum asking the question: How can I read newsletters on my Kindle when the information is not in the attachment but in the actual email.
I have done some further research and found out that I can subscribe to my own unread mails in my gmail account via https://mail.google.com/mail/feed/atom/
Would there be a possibility to subscribe to this via Calibre and have Calibre send the content to Kindle?

Does anybody know another way? Maybe how to auto-forward the email as a txt-file?

Thanks!

I'd suggest you to give a try to this idea:
- set Thunderbird to forward emails as attachments, not embedded in the text;
- create a filter to forward to your free Kindle email the newsletters you want to be read on Kindle.
I think it could work. Let us know.

I was forgetting... you should also set Thunderbird to compose messages as html, not as plain text.

No, that doesn't work, the Kindle doesn't recognize *.eml, the forwarded format. That's actually really sad because simply renaming it to *.txt solves the problem when the original email was plain text (which it is in my case).
