Tags not displaying on Content Server
Hi,

I was checking my content server and I noticed my Fantasy tag is not showing up. I have over 200 items tagged with Fantasy and I'm not sure why the tag isn't displaying.

Has anyone else experienced this and if so was there a solution?

I would appreciate any and all help,

I couldn't duplicate your problem. If you haven't already you might want to shut down the server and calibre, reboot your machine and try again. If this doesn't solve the problem hopefully someone with more insight will drop by with further guidance.

Are you sure that you do not have a restriction (saved Search) that excludes Fantasy applied to the content server (preference).

That was it! For some reason I had epub in the restriction (saved search) I didn't know what that meant but it seems to have excluded all epub only files from displaying on the Content Server.

A restriction allows you to hide (a selected category) of books from the content server. Eg. those with copyright restrictions (I use this phrase because Bean Free Library books are in copyright but MAY be given away.)

You build a search term to meet your restriction and then turn it into a 'Saved Search'. This is the same 'Saved Search' that can be used in the content server Restrictions box
