prs-600 supports .lrf or not anymore ?

something weird happened with my reader .. i used to download my books in .lrf mode long ago , n then switched to .epub .. now i had to remove ALLLLL the books n re up them again .. the library wont even import the .lrf files .. is it just my reader or is that prs-600s don't support them anymore ??

If I remember correctly, the PRS-500 did not support ePUB originally. About two years ago (I think) you could sent it to Sony for a new firmware which gave ePUB support. However, in doing so the lrf was no longer supported.

yes it didnt support epubs initially , but then i installed the firmware , n still i could read lrf as well as epubs .. actually i think the prob's with the library .. it won't import any lrf file ..
anyways .. i converted all the lrf files , tiresome but almost done ..

The Sony softare for your computer no longer supports lrf. It hasn't for several years now.

Go for Calibre as your Ebook manager. It supports lrf...
