Looking to put manga on an ereader device.
Which one should I get? I already have a nook and the problem is well 1 it cant zoom and 2 it cant read micro SD cards above 16 GB. I purchased a 64GB for my nook, so I could put music books ect. on it and found out the limitation. I want my manga in EPUB format and for the device to be able to zoom if possible. For the zoom I want to be able o read the main words and such on my manga pages and then just zoom in for any of those extra details. I was able to read manga on my nook but of course I wasn't able to zoom to get the full experience of it.Please no tablets or color devices I want it in E-ink. Thanks, for any and all help. Oh, and it's a plus if its multimedia like the Nook I like the fact it had games and I was able to listen to music on it.

A 64GB card will be an SDXC card. Off-hand, I don't know of any reading devices which support those. The limit for a "normal" SDHC card is 32GB; there are many devices which support SDHC or microSD cards.
I would guess that for Manga you're going to want a large-screen (9.7") device, so that restricts your choice. Onyx and Pocketbook both do nice 9.7" readers with SD card support, but they aren't cheap. |

As I say, I'm afraid I don't know of any device which supports SDXC cards - they are still rather a specialist item, and eBook readers don't generally have particularly large storage capacity simply because eBooks are not large. Eg, my Kindle has 3.25GB "user storage"; I have 750 books on it at present, and am using about a quarter of the storage space.
You might like to take a look at the Sony PRS-T1. It can certainly use cards up to 32GB (I suspect it won't support SDXC cards, though), and has very good capabilities as far as zooming goes. Sorry, but I honestly think you're out of luck as far as being able to use your expensive card goes. Perhaps the place you bought it from would allow you to exchange it for a 32GB SDHC card? |

No actually it's the Nook 1st edition so neither. I didn't want a tablet from the start. I wanted something that wasn't bad for your eyes and could last me for an enormous amount of time on a single charge. I would have just went with the kindle but it doesn't support any extra storage and didn't have a zoom feature didn't seem to be the manga friendly device.

Look to the more independent devices like Onyxs.
If it has zooming, this would be best as it has a great resolution: https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Iriver_Story_HD |

The resolution of the Story HD is very nice, but I've never been able to get it to zoom images in epub or cbz. Zooming on pdf and djvu works great. Also the manual says 32GB is the max supported SD card size.

Well looks like it's a choice between the Iriver Story HD and the Sony PRS-T1
With the Iriver I loose out on zooming but I get a better resolution with the Sony I loose out on resolution They are both around the same price and I have read that the Iriver has loading problems so maybe I'll get the Sony |
