I use this free service to locate and download free Amazon books each day, located here:

Many of Amazon's freebies are now listed as NOT for sale in the United States, even one I got free earlier this morning (before the change): "The Donzerly Light," located here:

It makes me wonder if someone at Amazon hit the wrong toggle switch for a whole series of titles.

Anyone else encountered this issue?

Yes, I noticed that this morning also. One was a free book I "purchased" last week. Some books by the author are available in the US and some in the same series are not. Very strange.

Yes, just started noticing it. Bought a book this morning from the promo pile, worked fine. Checked in at lunchtime, and all of the "slushpile" books show as not available in the US. I was searching through EReaderIQ, and on page 3 of my sorted search, that sites listings also glitched-- starting a resort from scratch on EreaderIQ now tells me that there are no new listings within the last 24 hours that meet my criteria, instead of the 200-300 from the search initiated 15 minutes earlier. They obviously just updated from Amazon, so my guess is it's Amazon site-wide problem. Checked a number of books that I've purchased previously, no longer on any type of promo, and they all come up as "not available in the United States" as well.
