T301 Cruz &Timey Wimey Weirdness....

For the most part I'm pretty happy with my little Cruz tablet. It's working out pretty well for me in terms of what I wanted to do with it but there is one thing going on that is totally flummoxing me. Whether it's set to check out the time from online or I set it myself doesn't seem to matter the time and date on my Cruz is routinely off to the point where it's absurd.

It's constantly setting itself back to a wrong date in 1969 and can be off by several hours besides. Seems like every time I power it down and/or charge it the Cruz just looses the time and date and goes haywire. My battery is charging fully just fine and I'm not seeing anything that looks like it might be an internal battery issue but then it's not a PC and I'm not really sure of how to check that like I can on my PC. The tablet was new when I got it but it was a gift I can't really return it.

It's not a major thing. I don't really care much that the date and time is constantly off but I can't help but wonder what's causing it to lose the date like that. For the record it does sometimes correct itself when I go online if I have it set to allow that, but it just doesn't stick the correct time etc. Anyone run across this one on a tablet? Just wondering if I can do anything or if it's just a glitch I'll have to live with?

my cruz T301 is jumping back to december 31, 1969 at 7:01 pm off and on I dont know what is causing it and don't know what to do about it.
any feed back is appreciated. very surprised to see same problem here

It must be an internal glitch because the people at VMC asked me to return mine for a swap. Problem is according the the email they sent me they want a receipt and I don't have one because my unit was a gift. The person that bought me mine told me about when and where but so far I have nothing from him that would count as one.
