Cannot import Amazon PRC Book

I am trying to import an Amazon PRC Book I copied from my Android Tablet.

I tired using the plugin from Alf, but every time when I import the book I get this error message.

"Error after 0.4 seconds: No key found in 4 keys tried. Read the FAQs at Alf's Blog".

Is there a way to import PRC into Calibre?

As it says... Ask for help at Alf's, not here.

Also, PRC is not an eBook format. A PRC is a holdover from the Palm days and is a container (like a ZIP file). A PRC file could hold any format data, but this one will hold either a mobi or one of the other Kindle formats.

As PeterT says, you'll need to ask at Alf's (in the comments area), but unless something's changed the tools don't work on books downloaded to the Android app.

all purchased / free books, can be downloaded instead into Kindle for PC/ Kindle for Mac, & from there it is straightforward to import.
But Amazon prime loans , which come in prc format, have a lot of extra obfuscation & protection , and will only download to an actual Kindle device, but you should not be copying those anyway! ( and Alf refuses to help with that ). I've had loans on my Kindle fire, but they refuse to download via the Kindle app on my other non-Amazon tablet & if I do dig one out & copy it into my registered Kindle for PC, it does not work there either.
