Howdy from Washington State

Never thought I would say I miss Idaho - but I do. My husband and I moved here to Washington just two years ago for work. He was born and raised in Idaho and I lived there for 38 years...so I guess I can call it home.

In 3-4 more years we will be retiring and moving back to Idaho. Island Park in the summers and La Ventana, B.C.S. Mex in the winters. If you're interested in learning more about Baja, just ask away. We discovered paradise and before we left for home after our first two week visit, we bought property ... and yes, you can buy property now. The laws changed in 1996 from leasing for 99 years. We own an acre of sand down on the Baja.

I have two children (hence mom a 2) who have my two grand children and one on the way. I know that all grandparents here will agree with me that the grandkids are the BEST.

So I am relatively new to this world of technology. I have been using a computer since 1989 and struggled with my DOS Multi-Mate using tables. Then they moved us to windows and Word Perfect - which I absolutely loved but Microsoft won out and I have used WORD ever since and other MS applications.

This past Christmas I got my first Kindle Touch and a month later in January I got my first "smart" phone....which certainly proved to be smarter than me. I am really enjoying my smart phone and have downloaded all the apps that amuse or help and/or entertain me in my day to day life. My favorite is IHeartRadio and the radio station out of Dallas/Ft. Worth "Lone Star 92.7" Classic Rock. I don't use it very much for a telephone...it is way more than that!!
