Varing Sequence Conversion.

Is there a way to convert PDF's that are seqeunced in traditional book forms into a flowing sequence for an ereader.
I am not heart set on doing this in Calibre, i just generally want to know if it is possible or has been figured out.

Many zines or mini books are formatted in such a way that 2 pages are on the same PDF page. and sequenced so that you could print it off and fold it and the pages would be in the correct order.

This sucks for trying to read the book in any electronic format, as you have to backtrack.

Here is one example.

(book from www.prole.info)

Sometimes it happens that 2 pages are on the same PDF page and sequenced in order.
page 1 and page 2 are side by side in one PDF page, and so on and so forth.

I would just like to be able to reformat these in a way that it readable on my kindle.

You are pretty much at the mercy of how it turns out.

You did read this sticky? https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=118605

PDF is a terrible format.
Be prepared to do a lot of hand editing. Sigil will help for a EPUB intermediate.

The sticky threads in the PDF Forum are worth looking over. There are two popular approaches, PDF to images and PDF to PDF. I suggest trying K2pdfopt (a PDF to PDF converter) first.
