Hi,
Three years ago I bought the Irex Iliad Reader DR1000 S. The screen is large enough for studybooks and small print pdf's. So this is a great e-reader. Alas, the battery died and there is not service available because the factory no longer exists. I found a good article on this site by Karma about changing the battery, but I am afraid to kill the whole thing. I can still use it when attached to a charger or usb. March 2012, a Dutch webshop sells this reader for € 299, but they cannot help you when there is trouble like dead batteries. So, I am looking for a good alternative. |
