Filled with witty songs and ditties and some serious poetry. Any Old Life was written as a challenge by someone who never considered themselves a writer nor even a great reader, with little promotion this book is starting to do well with only positive feedback. Ode to the wakening driver...

Curtain drawn back on a crisp winter’s morn
The night painter’s cold oily glaze covering each blade of grass
Droplets form as the hue of the dawn
Is absorbed by its own creative mass
The dawn painters come with their colours of gold
Breaking up the shadows of your nest
Like a warm wakening hand of a loved one
The sun brush is waved like a wand of gold
And so chases the shadows with each welcome stroke
