Iliad starts up to the connection wizard. How...

How do I change that? The first thing it tries to do is enable a wired connection and I have to wait for it to fail before it goes to the previously viewed files.

Very annoying. Any idea how to skip the network connection thingy?

Thanks

My iliad did the same despite me setting up a preference to go to last read document. If you have done the same (set your preferences to go somewhere other than the connections page) then try the following, it worked for me.

In an area where you have access to a wireless network press the silver button top right to connect to the dns and download the latest updates as per procedure. It could be, and was in my case, an issue relating to the device not having completely downloaded the latest updates and that is what it was trying to do each time on start up.

Hope that helps

It's not well documented, but an update procedure usually requires two connections to iDS and the iLiad will keep automatically trying to connect every time you reboot it until it has completed the update. The first one downloads the software and installs it, then second connection downloads the documentation for the new version.

Usually what I'll do during a software update is keep hitting the connect button until it comes back and says "Nothing to transfer". Then you know it's finished and won't try to auto-connect anymore during startup.
