"Get Books" funtion not working
It was working one minute, and then not the next.
It will *immediately* give me the "Couldn't find any books matching your query" popup window. It doesn't matter what I search for... it comes up every time. Yes... I have all my typical stores enabled (including manybook, gutenberg, etc). I've also tried enabling ALL of the stores... still no luck. Any ideas? |

I've restarted Calibre, I've restarted my computer, I've disabled my antivirus, I restarted in debug mode, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Calibre... all to no avail.
I have no idea what might have happened. |

Go to preferences->miscellaneous and check the proxy settings calibre is using.

It says "No proxies used." We have a direct connection.

Preferences->searching has no bearing on get books. Your symptmms imply some network connectivity issue. Firewalls and proxies are the common suspects.
