need to reverse title and author

I recently added a huge number of books. Unfortunately, I now have the situation where about half of my library has authors where the title should be and titles where the author should be. I have tried to follow the regex discussions but they are beyond me.

If I highlight the problem books first what do I need to enter and where in order to switch the titles and authors.

I appreciate any help you can give me.

Open the edit metadata window, check the Swap title and author box, then click OK.

You should also contact the publisher of these books and report the problem to them, so that other people don't experience the same problem in the future.
